What is True? (rework)

My friend Joe (1960-2015) persistently would say to me, “Ed. What is true?” in our conversations. He wouldn’t stop asking me this over and over and over until he felt that I had been honest with myself.

I’ve been thinking a lot about him lately and wanted a good print to hang as a reminder not only of him but to ask myself this question each day. I don’t have a good scan of the original ink painting so I decided to recreate the original.
