A little wet and fighting the cold this morning, I ignored work for a few minutes and rushed out to take some snapshots of my pussy willow trees which had just started to bloom.
As I started going through the shots I had taken (during a meeting), I was completely floored by what I was seeing…and what I had missed!
I was shooting a little larger than life-size (a reproduction ratio of 1.34:1, to be exact) and I’m guessing he wasn’t larger than 2-4mm, so it’s no wonder that I missed him. As soon as I noticed him photobombing my pussy willow capture, I ran back outside to find him but he was long gone.
It was a good reminder that I need to slow down, take a deep breath, and be more in the present moment.
What do you think?
